We have been busy making Mesh Tote bags, which are below.
For the moment we have listed our items on Madeit.com.au – please check us out at www.madeit.com.au/AuntieJoysPlace
These hand crafted mesh tote bags are dressy yet functional and extremely strong yet light and comfortable to carry.
They are ideal for shopping, or when you go to the gym or the pool, or just to catch up with friends.
They are perfect for keeping your knitting and craft things together, big and strong enough to carry your books or laptop/pad and your work/study papers, and your lunch, or the kids gear.
The bags are made to last. The mesh is ultra strong, vinyl coated fiberglass (paw proof) pet mesh. The fabric is 100% cotton drill. The internal seams are bound with matching fabric. The straps are made from drill and padded for extra comfort. They are designed to be worn on the shoulder or carried by hand. The handles are box stitched to the body of the bag for strength.
The range of available prints currently includes:
- An Australian Aboriginal design,
- Wine and olive oil motifs;
- Fruit and vegetable motifs,
- A black and white geometric pattern,
- An olive fruit and leaves motif, and
- A stained glass window pattern.
Click on the photos below for a closer look at each fabric.
The body of each bag measures 41cm (16 inches) wide, 35cm (14 inches) high and 10cm (4 inches) deep.
The bags can be sponge cleaned with warm soapy water, rinsed well and hung to dry. They should not be ironed.
